We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here. We prepare young people with skills for life, by encouraging them to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help half a million young people enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. Fancy it?

Welcome to 1st Strathaven Scout Group

We have provided the young people of Strathaven and the surrounding villages exciting and adventurous activities in various forms since 1908.

All of our sections participate in Events & Camps near and far both in the UK and Abroad with Strathaven Scouts and Leaders travelling to camp in France in 2024 and the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
